Cassandra Developer
Great long term contract opportunity for a Cassandra Developer to utilize their development and architecture experience in a growing house-hold name company.
Conveniently located in the perimeter area, you will join a team of talented engineers to help migrate a high volume database from Oracle to Cassandra. In this role you will design denormalized data models in Cassandra, as well as build functionalities that are offered by Legacy Oracle databases. Proven success integrating Cassandra with Front End APIs as well as experience utilizing Kafka and Spark to capture Real Time streaming data to store in Cassandra are needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Proven experience migrating high volume transactional databases to Cassandra
- Experience capturing Real Time streaming data via Kafka and Spark
- Strong understanding of Cassandra development and architecture
- Experience designing denormalized data models in Cassandra
- Integration of Front End APIs with Cassandra
