Description
My client works with a number of Automotive OEMs and requires a Contract CAD Designer to assist them in the design and development of their new Infotainment/Display System to the customer for a Summer 2017 product launch. The initial contract is for 6 months but likely to be extended and/or offered a permanent position.
The successful CAD Designer will have a HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant subject as a minimum and be looking at studying for Mechanical Engineering degree in the future, and will work within a close team in order to design and develop a finished product for mass production. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience as either a Graduate Engineer or Junior Engineer with a company that uses similar skills and would be open to a permanent role in the future.

Technical Skills & Experience Required:
*2 years+ experience with Catia 3D Modelling.
*2 years+ experience with Catia 2D drawing prep.
*Design development to Mass Production level of moulded or stamped parts
*1 years experience with Catia Surfacing modelling tool is desirable but not essential.
*Excellent communications skills.
