Senior ETL Analyst/Developer - Daily Rate Contract - Dublin City Centre
The Senior ETL Systems Analyst/Developer role is the key technical position within the Project Delivery team, and the following are the specific skills required:
Skills/Competencies Required:
Excellent development skills in InfoSphere DataStage are essential
Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts, DB2, WebSphere MQ, SOA, XML is advantageous
Experience in developing/supporting large Unix based batch processes is desirable
Knowledge of Datamodelling and techniques
Previous experience with the Apache Hadoop stack and related technologies
Other technologies: Shell Scripting, Java, regular expressions, PL/SQL
Good interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to coach and influence effectively in an international context
Ability to analyse and solve problems often involving cross functional teams who will be geographically dispersed
Must be self-motivated
Experience Required:
Minimum of 5 years at Senior Application development level working in enterprise scale IT systems
Primary or Secondary degree in a related technical discipline
Relevant vendor qualifications desirable
Prior experience in an international environment desirable, candidates must have the ability to handle pressure to meet tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
