SAP POSDM Consultant
SAP POSDM Consultant should be able to understand the retail business concepts and implement POSDM for the retail customers with the Below Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
SAP POSDM configuration in a SAP Business Warehousing (BW)/SAP Retail environment, including POSDM profile building
Understanding of SAP POSDM Sales Audit functionality
Understanding of configuration of SAP POSDM Business transaction types: Sales, Financials, Totals, Inventory and Reversals
Ability to read XML data structures for retail point of sale transaction data, and create SAP mapping specifications to convert the XML Point of Sale (POS) data into the necessary Request for Comment (RFC) structures for SAPPOSDM
In depth understanding of Application Link Enabling (ALE)/Intermediate Document (IDOC) processing to pass data from SAP POSDM Business Intelligence (BI)
Create functional and technical specifications and perform unit and integration testing
Candidate must have understanding of inventory principles in a retail environment, In-depth understanding of SAP Retail article master, assortments and layouts
Ability to integrate Legacy POS systems with SAP POSDM and to accommodate a new POS data source with little guidance
Understanding of the SAP POSDM Pipe processing module
Understanding of SAP Financial (FI) module and integration between SAP FI and Sales and Distribution (SD) modules
Experience with SAP methodology from organizing business design, workshops, gathering requirements, designing the future state solution, the development objects related to their process scope, as well as supporting testing and post implementation activities
Understanding of SAP MM (Materials Management) integration with BW and POSDM is highly preferred
Preferable to provide technical analysis and design technical solution.
