Front End Developer Contract Dublin Bank 6-18 Months.
My client a leading global bank is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Front End web developer to join them on a contract basis for 6-18 months. My client has a Risk data visualisation and analytics group in Dublin and they are looking for a Front End Web Developer to join their team. You will get the chance to work on a cutting edge start of the edge Real Time system. You will work to develop and maintain a reusable, comprehensive UI framework for ad-hoc risk data analysis using latest technology. You will Innovate efficient ways for users to interact with large datasets and metadata around those datasets. You will also be required to Integrate with other reporting APIs such as Tableau and Microstrategy to provide streamlined/integrated user experience with other available reporting interfaces you will also partner with other teams within the group and also other technology groups across all of Risk Technology.
Candidates will have Strong knowledge of at least one major programming language (preferably Python, Java, or C#) You will also have strong JavaScript knowledge. Successful candidates will have 4+ years of commercial experience in Front End web development with experience in Angular, React or other client-side JS frameworks. You will have knowledge of agile principles, tools, and best practices. Candidates will have experience with testing, mocks, and TDD and experience working with large datasets and data-driven reporting interfaces as well as RESTful services. It will be expected that you have experience with CSS3, HTML5, and CSS preprocessors (Sass or LESS), as well as responsive web design techniques and cross-browser compatibility and experience with charting libraries such as D3.js or ChartJS.
