On behalf of our client we are currently looking to recruit a qualified freelancer for a project in Hamburg/Germany with start as soon as possible as a:Ruby Developer with Elastic Search Knowledge (f/m)

Key Responsibilities/Project details:
You’ll be responsible for building features in a highly modularised app with distributed teams and a scheduled release train
You won’t just be writing code all day, you’ll play an active part in shaping our products
You’ll maintain and contribute to the open source projects we’re using
You’ll be part of an excellent independent team that also likes to have fun
You’ll contribute changes to an app that is used by hundreds of thousands of users each day
Working place: Hamburg/Germany
Working period: 01.10.2016 till 31.12.2016 (prolongation possible)
Working hours: Full-time
Remote possibility: one day remote per week is possible
Key Qualifications:
At least two years of professional Ruby (on Rails) programming experience, ideally in agile environments
Good understanding of algorithms, data structures and general software development patterns as well as API experience with HTTP, REST and/or JSON
Good knowledge Elastic Search
Experience with unit and integration testing, automated testing frameworks is a big plus
Fluent communication in English
