My client based in the west midlands is sen to recruit a project manager with specific experience in Cost management. This is a large cross-functional project seeking to gain a cross-functional unified view and associated multi-year roadmap of cost management across the complete product life cycle from R&D through product development, through to the product's end of life in service. Currently cost is managed in departments leading to significant shifts in downstream life cycle cost. The client wishes to review the current decision making process so that it focuses on the most profitable decisions. Domain knowledge of cost management across a product life cycle is desirable, as is experience with cost related enterprise systems such as PLM & ERP. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate a proven career in management of similar cost management projects and have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
