Valuations Controller, IPV, Product Control, Equities, London
Tier One Investment Bank is looking to appoint an experienced Product Controller with exposure to Valuations/IPV in the equities space. You will be based in Central London on a 6month contract. Qualified Accountant, IPV, Valuations
The Equity Finance team - a control and business advisory function- are looking for a strong experienced Product Controller to support the Equity Client Solutions business, which makes secondary markets in European equity derivatives. The focus of the candidate will be on Valuation Control.
Main responsibilities involve:
- Calculation and calibration of liquidity and other valuation adjustments
- Independent Price Verification
- Enhancing existing Valuation Control processes
Your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- Experience in product control function, in particular in price testing
- Knowledge of Equity Derivative products (Options, Forwards, Futures)
- Qualified CFA or Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with good working knowledge of accounting concepts
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to build and use spread sheets
- Demonstrable risk identification and management
- Client focused approach
