For a client in Esbjerg, Denmark, Sirius Business Group is looking for a WTG Commissioning Inspector within Wind Power Industry.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Monitor the commissioning activities
- Ensure that outstanding works and quality issues are detected and reported
- Monitor mechanical and electrical completion
- Ensure that work is carried out in compliance with the project HSE rules and local legislation
- Ensure that the work is organised and done according to the commissioning manual
- Ensure that tests are carried out and commissioning work documented according to rules, procedures and templates
- Ensure that progress of commissioning is reported in daily progress reports
- Contribute to proactive management, good coordination and communication between all parties performed in effective processes
- Coordinate and perform commissioning walk-downs together with the supplier
- Report in NCR system (eg Synergi) on relevant quality issues
- Participate in review, preparation and coordination of detailed commissioning schedules
- Day-to-day supervision and management of commissioning personnel/contractors assigned
- Contribute to coordination of resources
- Verify that tests are carried out and documented
- Participate in test to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Monitor and document performance test of sub-systems
- Participate in the preparation of snagging lists
- Day-to-day management of safeguarding systems and procedures for work permits for energised equipment within the assigned technical area
- Ensure necessary safety signs/notices, barriers etc. are implemented on a day-to-day basis during the commissioning
- Participate in coordination with Operations Preparation Manager
- Take part in site meetings
- Participate in verifying that the commissioning is documented according to the commissioning manual, rules and guidelines
- Participate in verifying that HSE procedures are implemented
- Participate in verifying Global Operations ability to take over defined technical area
- Participate in data collection and analysis of quality performance surveys.
Deliverables:
- Inspection reports, including NCR and Snagging lists
- Synergi reports
- Register finding in the applied analysis tool (usually Excel)
Requirements:
- Experience working with Siemens Wind Power
- Technical education relevant for the subject matter.
- Recommended 3 years of work experience within wind power and/or commissioning
- Recommended 1 year of experience from similar position
- Adaptable, works well in teams, strong communication abilities, good English skills in writing and verbally

Start: November, 14th, 2016
Duration: 10 and 1/2 month + possible extension
