A client of mine based outside of Paris is seeking a Senior MicroStrategy Consultant for an initial 3 month contract.
You will be working in a highly agile social environment. MicroStrategy team provides user support, reporting and dashboard facilities for departments across the business.
The ideal candidate will be experienced working with very large database systems.
Responsibilities/Job Role
- MicroStrategy Administration
- MicroStrategy Schema Development
- Reports/Documents/Dashboards development
- Provide support and training to users within the business
Key skills and experience
- MicroStrategy intelligence server
- MicroStrategy OLAP Services
- MicroStrategy Distribution Services
- MicroStrategy Web
- MicroStrategy Report Services
- SQL
- Datamodelling + dimensional modelling experience
- Large data sets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Charismatic and driven
- MicroStrategy GA upgrades (or part of the process)
- Strong database skills (ideally column based databases)
- Understanding of ETL (data flows)
- Data Visualisation
