Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fiance Manager to work within Central Government on a contract basis. This position is based in Bristol, initially until March 2017 offering up to £250 per day Ltd.
Main Duties:
Financial management of CP&F Programme, including monthly forecast of outtun 'Flash' and 'full' returns and quarterly reporting.
Administration of MOSS filestore area.
Ad-hoc tasking as required.
Essential Experience
Lead and support reviews and external reporting, including Office of Government Commerce reviews, Defence Major Projects Portfolio, Government Major Projects Portfolio.
Lead on the management of finance matters for the programme, including tracking and reviewing business case approvals, monitoring spend within programme limits, delivering financial reporting requirements for Head Office and the Director of Financial Strategy.
Support for the secretariat for 3* CP&F Programme Board, 3* Direction Board, 1* CP&F Programme Board and 1* Delivery Board, including covering secretariat responsibilities when required.
Assist with Communications developing awareness and promoting CP&F Benefits within the Stakeholder community
Support to the Programme Manager and Deptuy Programme Manager with stakeholder management
Supporting the development and achievement of benefits exploitation.
Support the management of all CP&F Programme Administrative areas such as planning, risk management, change control
Lead on CP&F MOSS area
Maintain MOSS Library and ensure appropriate Change Control Procedures and CP&F Ways of Working are adhered to
Be an advocate for change for CP&F
Familiarity with MOD financial processes (such as forecast of outtun and annual business cycles)
Familiarity and training with Microsoft SharePoint Services (MOSS).
