Description
A Top Tier Investment Bank are recruiting for an Insurance Product Manager to work within their Group Insurance Team on a rolling contract basis.
The Product Manager will be working very closely with the Head of Governance supporting them with product governance and product approvals on a global perspective. The role requires a lot of product knowledge ideally beyond a UK focus on both savings and protection. Both the mechanics of the products and having an understanding of the customer proposition side of the products also.

Essential Skills/Experience:
- Part Qualified Actuary - in depth insurance product knowledge in particular savings and protection.
- Strong planning skills and the ability to drive delivery, and a thorough and technical understanding of insurance products sales, operations, especially in a bancassurance environment.
- Experience working with a wide range of markets, with diverse product sets, distribution standards, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of various types of wealth products proposition, understand how they are designed and managed to satisfy customer, manufacturer and distribution needs.
- Experience of balancing the requirements of multiple stakeholders with often conflicting agendas/motivation.
- Experience of having direct engagement with local sites and the application of product expertise, to provide assistance and guidance.
