Your tasks:
- Analyse current components (Electric Power Steering)
- Optimise count and cost for next generation of these components
- Redefine the boundaries of electronic components
- If these components would be redesigned what should be included (in the power supply IC, in the uC, in the gate driver unit)
- Prepare feasibility study for one of the concepts, including estimated ASIC development costs, ASIC development timing, and ASIC component cost
Your qualifications
- Deep knowledge in real-time embedded system (with focus on HW) design experience
- Deep knowledge in ASIC development
- Design experience in aerospace/automotive safety critical system is of an advantage
- Understanding the cost structure of the ASIC development, sample production and series production is of an advantage
- Verbal and written English is required
