Huxley IT is currently looking for a freelance cloud and devops engineer in Gent.
I'm looking for a driven technical leader who wants to grow in the dynamic environment and influence direction and decision making in the wider organisation.
Skills:
- past experience with cloud
- knowledge of AWS
- strong experience with nodejs or willing to learn
- understanding of postgreSQL
- experience with linux or docker and kubernetes is a bonus
- knowledge of python is a plus
Scope:
- understanding of the impact of cloud on business related architecture with primary focus on data and big data
- develop, extend and maintain the web Framework and underlying databases and jobs to give colleagues the globe access to the RDS database - maintaining the health of the database
- maintaining the web Framework
- identify key challenges in the organisation for which data driven decision making makes sense
- direct contact with stakeholders
