For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for a IT Risk Specialist.

Team:
At our client DevOps teams use the Agile Scrum Methodology and Continuous Delivery / Continuous Improvement Engineering Practices. A DevOps team consists of two roles: Development Engineer and Operations Engineer. Collectively, the DevOps team has full responsibility for the Development, Deployment, Quality Assurance/Testing, Support and Operation of an application and its associated components and interfaces, forming part of a wider chain of applications that enables a customer to perform a transaction. This is called a Customer Journey and is at the heart of everything we do.
Tasks:
- Understanding how your application fits into the overall chain(s) of systems that implement business processes, and working with your "chain neighbor" teams where necessary to improve reliability, efficiency, simplicity and eliminate waste.
- Identifying IT related risks, feeling ownership for addressing and resolving them while creating overall awareness.
- Creating and executing capacity, lifecycle and change management procedures and processes.
- Creating, and executing Operational Excellence Tests (e.g. Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Tests).
- Understanding the security aspects of your application while making sure that the agreed Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability ratings are met.
- Planning and executing the establishment of new interface connections between our client and/or external systems
- Understanding and monitoring the performance of your application but also the entire technology stack on which the application is running.
