Summary
I am working with the fastest micro payments company in the world, who are based out in the start up capital of Europe (Stockholm, Sweden). They are rapidly growing with an engineering team of over 400 consisting of 38 nationalities. Also backed by Sequoia Capital who invested in the early stages of Google, Linkedin, Spotify, Airbnb, Skyscanner, DropBox etc.
What you'll be doing
- Inspiring, mentoring and empowering a small team of Software Engineers towards shared goals.
- Building services, using either Erlang, Scala or Java, depending on the domain.
- Leading design discussions, retrospectives and empowering teams to find solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- Ensuring testing best practices and agile development processes are followed.
What you'll need to have
- Experience building scalable software in a distributed architecture.
- Strong problem solving capabilities; being unafraid of tackling difficult engineering challenges.
- The desire to lead a small team of Software Engineers.
- The ability to write clean and highly performant code yourself.
- The ability to lead design discussions.
