SAP PM/CS Consultant - English Speaking. London, United Kingdom. Start 1st November Month Contract
The main purpose of this role is to support new ERP deployments in Europe and support existing sites that have gone live.
Key deployment activities would include: Peer Reviews, Testing solutions, Roles & Authorizations, Cutover.
Experienced in SAP PM (EAM)/CS, MM (IM) required. Experience in mobile solution and fleet management an advantage.
The role will involve 25-30% travel to other European countries.
The main responsibilities will be:
- Provide support to testing the Engineering processes within SAP - as per requirements identified within Engineering Management blueprint. On a SAP ECC6 EHP7 platform
- Provide Regression Testing
- Provide SAP solutions for business processes;
- Review training materials at a consultant level;
- Support the Wave 2 deployment;
- Provide support to the ERP Engineering Lead
KEY SUCCESS MEASURES:
- Test Engineering processes within SAP - as per requirements identified within Engineering Management blueprint. On a SAP ECC6 EHP7 platform
- Identify gaps during initial phase of W2 deployment and work with other team members to address gaps
- Provide solutions using SAP standard functionality for global template creation and local requirements
- Timely identification of risks, issues and dependencies, recommendation of actions and appropriate escalation to the right party through the agreed channels, validated by the agreement of the Engineering Lead.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
This role requires:
- Detailed knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance and Customer Service processes and solutions as well as inter-company;
- Experiences encompasses 2+ PM implementations (design, build and test);
- Experience in working with offshore development and configuration teams;
- Experience in rolling out of template solution;
- International and Global single instance experience.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- SAP Plant Maintenance and Customer Service expert.
- Integration knowledge between Plant Maintenance/Customer Service and Materials Management/Sales and Distribution
- Experience in mobile and web based solutions and fleet management an advantage;
- Experience in interfacing to third party systems.
