Windows Engineer (C#, VB.NET, VBScript, Powershell)
Duration: Contract
Location: London, UK
Key Responsibilities:
- General Windows Engineering and escalation support of the Windows Server OS, Windows Server Core Build & Delivery System and associated technologies.
- Involvement where necessary in design of additional technical controls.
- An appreciation of business deadlines and priorities balanced with best security practices and working methods.
Key Skills:
- Looking for very strong technical background with proven in-depth Windows Server OS knowledge.
- Good Scripting skills - Powershell, vbScript.
- Good development skills - C#, VB.NET.
- Familiar with automated OS deployment and general automation technologies.
- Experience with Public/On-Prem cloud an advantage - Azure/AzureStack.
- Working understanding of modern virtualisation technologies - Containerisation, Docker.
- Experience of configuration management - Powershell DCM, Puppet, Chef.
- Good general networking - TCP/IP.
- Working experience with financial client
