Description

Senior Finance Analyst/Leeds/11 Months Contract/Up To £23 Per Hr

The role combines Reporting, Business Partnering, Compliance and Problem Solving.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Finance Manager UK

Monthly close process

Business Partner for Warehouse and Distribution

Business Partner supporting WW Quality & Product Management

WW Quality & Product Management

Maintain Global Orthopaedics quality headcount master file, reconcile to reported headcount, follow up on deviations, metrics on those not following the process

Prepare Consolidated Global PM BVA's & PM Pillar BVA's

PM headcount register and maintenance

Support Cork Quality & Product Management Organisation - Prepare Monthly BVA'S

Ad hoc queries

Consolidating regional data for analysis

Warehouse & Distribution

Business Partnering for Warehouse and CLS - first point of contact for warehouse management for financial queries

Month End accounting incl. accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany recharges.

Reporting - Monthly variance analysis, investigations, ad hoc requests

Budget and forecasting - creation of recharge forecasts and liaising with various linked franchises.

Project Work

Experience

Excellent organisational skills

Needs to be able to manage a number of different tasks at the same time.

New or recently qualified preferred

Experience on JD Edwards OneWorld useful

Excellent computer skills - excel, word, Powerpoint etc

Personal Traits

Excellent planning and organisation skills

Reliable team player

Self-motivated, self-starter, able to manage time to effectively cope with busy periods

Excellent communication skills, spoken and written

Accurate, efficient work style

Job Environment

Leeds based

Travel possible although infrequent
