IT purchasing Officer - Fife, Scotland - 3 months +
My client education client is looking for an experienced IT purchasing officer to join the team in November for a 3 month contract. There is a possibility of extension also. You will need the following experience;
- Purchasing experience in IT - Software, Hardware and Services
- Strong team player
- Strong communication
- College level education or above
- Strong problem solving
- Public sector / Higher education sector experience
- Performance analysis
- Strong numeracy
- Strong MS office skills
Nice to have;
- Degree standard qualification (Finance, accountancy or ICT)
- Purchasing within a Higher Education environment
- Computerised finance systems - e.g - APTOS
- Computerised helpdesk system - e.g - Top Desk
- Understanding of purchase-to-pay processes, application and dependencies Understanding of public sector procurement, (preferably in HE/FE)
Contract : 3 months +
November start
Rate : £15-24/hour all in (Umbrella or ltd)
Interviews : wb 31.10.16
Location: Scotland, Fife
