MS Access Developer/Analyst
Moon Township, PA
2 months+ contract
Analyst and developer for enhancements and maintenance to an established Microsoft Access database that performs calculations and outputs reports to Finance users. The database imports manufacturing and cost data from other systems and from users.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements gathering and analysis, design, development, testing, maintenance, documentation, and training.
- Work closely with knowledgeable super-user to take ownership of the database.
- Work with Finance users to determine and refine requirements, agree on solutions, and complete process and technical design documents.
- Complete all development, testing, and deployment tasks while working closely to support and train users.
Qualifications:
- Senior level Microsoft Access development experience including user interface forms and reports.
- Database design and development experience including stored procedures.
- Strong knowledge of MS Access and Excel.
- Experience with VBA.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with MS SQL, C++, C#, .NET a plus.
