Our client is looking for an Oracle DBA for a 2-3month project. They need someone who can completely rebuild their reporting database tool. The person needs to have knowledge of Back End Banner data as well. They will be building people tables, course tables, will mostly be student applications but some financial as well. They are currently on oracle 11gr 2, but may be on 12c by some point in the project. They would like to get someone in as soon as possible, will hire off of 1 phone interview.
They are working to establish a set of new reporting database tables, built upon an existing Ellucian Banner installation, to meet the strategic and tactical reporting needs of the University.
This contract position will work with existing staff in the Enterprise Applications group within Information Technology Services, Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Office of The University Registrar to finalize an initial reporting table structure and implement the approved design.
This individual will need strong Oracle, SQL and PL/SQL knowledge, as well as strong knowledge of the Ellucian Banner table structure and data layout. Knowledge of UNIX/Linux tools is a plus
