Rate: €450-€575 per day
Location: Toulouse, France

Start Date: January 2017 but interviews are taking place immediate and contracts will be awarded to the successful candidate beforehand.

Key Information:

* My client, a well-established and respected Satellite company specialise in the design and provision of Geostationary satellites that deliver digital TV content globally. They are currently developing their latest product and require a consultant to assist them with their activities.
* This role relates to various communication modules (BUSes) that control various aspects of the satellite, I am therefore seeking candidates that have platform level experience rather than specific modules only.
* This project involves overseeing the build and completion of the satellite by a third party and will be based on site and the "third party". I am therefore seeking someone who can challenge the manufacturing process, oversee the project and over advice to best practices.
* The Design is not yet fully completed so a consultative approach to this aspect will also be required.
* This is a full-life cycle position so will involve AIT, acceptance testing, procurement aspects etc.
* Due to the project being within the space industry, previous space experience is a distinct advantage.
