Description
Our client is looking for a senior network reporting analyst to join the operations team supporting their new Next Generation Network.
Ideal candidates will be highly proficient in analtyical and reporting skills in Splunk, but also Excel, SQL, Perl, Access, MDSL, etc. A good understanding of IT networking and the key metrics associated with them (bandwidth, latency, utilisation, availability, TEM, etc) would be advantageous as would exposure to Tableau reporting
Our client requires the analyst to initially:
- Develop reporting requirements
- Plan/design/build/test reporting prototypes in Splunk for circuits
- Develop data quality plan
- Provide knowledge transfer and training
- Develop plans to integrate/automate/implement/deploy reporting
- Design associated process/procedure capabilities and roles
The analyst will then continue to:
- Maintain reporting requirements
- Implement, maintain, update and support Splunk deployment
- Execute data quality plans and drive quality of circuit data
- Produce monthly trend reports and analyst commentary
