Senior Finance Analyst/Cork, Ireland/11 Months Contract/Up To 33 EUR Per Hr
The primary purpose of this role is to provide financial support to the Global Orthopedics WW Plan organization in relation to world wide inventory. Providing excellent reporting and analytics to both business and finance partners and leaders, this is a key role to support the achievement of inventory and cashflow targets.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inventory reporting
Monthly operational reporting of WW Global Ortho inventory providing details of Gross and Net inventory to senior directors and business managers, together with analysis and commentary
Quarterly Corporate reporting to senior Finance stakeholders, providing bridges and analysis on movements versus forecast
Calculation of quarterly world wide inventory days of supply (DOS) together with detailed analysis vs plan
Calculation of WW DOS by category to be used for the release of inventory related reserves
Business Plan and Forecasts
Accurate, timely, and complete operational and financial Gross to Net and DOS forecasts - Business Plan and multiple latest thinking outlooks through the year
Ensure alignment & transparency between P&L and Balance Sheet assumptions relating to inventory items
Support the annual Strategic Plan
Business Partnering
Build strong connections and partnerships with the global Finance community driving accurate reporting and improvements
Build relationships with global Plan Inventory leads, supporting them to drive sustainable inventory reductions
Drive financial accountability, ensuring that the financial implications of operational decisions are considered
Inventory Processes
Ensure compliance to WWPs and SOX controls
Drive standardised and harmonised inventory management processes across the J&J SC eg PII, SLOB, FAA, DOS
Support the initiative to combine and stream line the Synthes and Depuy inventory reporting process to enhance control, reporting and target delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Essential:
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA accountant
5+ years of relevant multi national experience
Desirable:
Exposure to operations through working with the business in a global supply chain environment
Supply chain finance experience in Medical device or Pharmaceutical industry.
Proven track record in multi cultural business partnering
