Cloud Service architect (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, IAM)

We are urgently seeking an experienced Cloud Service architect (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, IAM) for a long-term project in Hong Kong and Shenzhen to transform IT Ops and functions into Cloud Services.

The Cloud Service architect (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, IAM) will be responsible for the following deliverables:

  • Complete the IT service planning (define what are the services that IT operation require)
  • Design the IT services identified (formulate the high level design of the services)
  • Define the API required and the web console design
  • Deliver detailed design for "Access & Identity Services" and "Monitoring Service"

The Cloud Service architect (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, IAM) will IDEALLY HAVE AT LEAST 65% of the following skills:

  • Strategic Consulting: Understanding the cutting edge service transformation in IT operation. Can lead executive discussion with client on the service definition, and the relationship of each services with the IaaS/PaaS/SaaS layers. In-house experiences in AWS/Salesforce/MS IT operation are preferred (or any other firm that transformed its IT operation into services)
  • Technology Consulting: Familiar with the IT service (eg IAM, Apollo services of AWS) in cloud environment. Can design technical architecture with in-depth understanding on API/tools/web console/coding that enable the service design to be successful. Experiences as a domain owner of "access and identity" or "monitoring" IT Ops modules in cloudized environment is preferred

  • IaaS/PaaS configuration service
  • Applications configuration service
  • Account management service
  • Access/Authorization management service
  • Asset management service
  • Performance & efficiency management service
  • Change/deployment/release management service
  • Monitoring & event management service
  • Service operation service (some other called it "regular tasks", simply execution of the service request)
  • Support & incident management service
