One of my leading financial services clients in Amsterdam is urgently seeking a SAS Database Expert with Credit Risk background for a long-term contract paying excellent rates.

The SAS Database Expert with Credit Risk background will IDEALLY HAVE AT LEAST 65% of the following skills:
- Proven experience in usage of SAS or any comparable database tooling, combined with a background in Risk/Finance.
- Strong database and report building skills, but also communication skills because of the alignment with the end-user.
- Communicative;
- Strong analytical and database skills;
- A good team player;
- Fluency in English both written and verbal (work language).
- Knowledge of credit risk and/or IFRS regulation is a pre.
The SAS Database Expert with Credit Risk background will perform the following responsibilities:
- Creation of data marts and reports for portfolio monitoring following the new IFRS9 requirements. The newly built IFRS reporting functionality has to be tested during a parallel run. The end users are both at head office and in the countries.
- Build data queries based on requests from portfolio owners to help them with their business analysis.
- Be the linking pin with the portfolio owners to meet their requirements.
- You will work closely together with the Project Manager of IFRS9 and the Product Owner of the SAS Analytics team. You will be located in the Analytics team of the Risk Services organization.
