Sr. Data Analyst Analyst to support analysis work, capture, evaluate and document data changes, workingwith business and technical teams, to ensure efficiency in delivery.- Teradata (Mandatory) - SQL - Business analysis
Worked in banking domain - 5 to 8 years of experience in data analysis
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver on Data ServicesStrategy - Support the Head of Data Services in the establishment of a single,consistent, accurate reconciled source of data for MI, Analytics and Reporting;being recognised for excellence in data and analytics.
2. Service QualityEnhancement - Play a key role in eliciting, defining and elaborating thebusiness- and industry-aligned Data services that are provided to and enhancedfor AIB and its Customers.
3. Act on Businesses Behalf - If needed, act as theSME and be able to define business requirements against which programmescoping, architecture design and test management activities will be based
4. Facilitate PoC - Facilitate Proof of Concepts relating to data/report mapping.
5. Identify Business Needs - Identify/anticipate Business needs above beyondexplicit project-level requests.8. Requirements Gathering - Providecomprehensive and complete functional and non-functional requirementsspecifications leveraging your domain competency and industry knowledge.
6. Data Quality Solution Identification - Look for solutions to prevent dataquality issues arising, such as changes to business processes, IT changeetc.
7. Test Support - Assist in the prioritization, scoping and definition ofssociated testing activitiesThis role requires a technically-minded domainspecialist candidate with direct experience working on data projects. Inaddition the candidate must be able to demonstrate;
Facilitation - Must be ableto lead, demonstrate value-add principles and be willing to get their handsdirty to get the job done. Must be ableto facilitate discussion and facilitate alternatives or different approaches.Analysis - Must have strong analytic and problem solving skills including the abilityto analyze business processes, requirements impact and requirements feasibility.
