Description
A leading Renewable Energy client is looking for a Consultant to work as a Commissioning Supervisor for their offshore wind farm project.
They are looking for an individual to be able to start this approx. 13 month freelance contract from 1 December 2016 - or ASAP thereafter with a possibility to extend thereafter; this role will be based in the UK & Belgium
Shift Pattern as below:
- Onshore period 01/12/16 - app. 31/03/17 Mon-Friday up to 9 hours per day - however working on weekends must be expected
- Offshore period app. / days on duty followed by 14 days off duty Up to 12 hours per day
Onshore tasks:
- Day to day (Preparation of paper work example: Upload signed documents into CPW, handover documents, transfer of risk)
- To Prepare Maintenance schedules for offshore
- Following up on needed Spare-part lists for offshore scope
- Follow up on offshore RAMS from sub-contractors
- General preparation for offshore activities
- To ensure guides for various systems are in place before offshore campaign
- To ensure needed tools are in place before offshore campaign
- Ensure needed bits and pieces are in place for the offshore campaign
- Ensure register of all liquids on the substation is in place before offshore campaign
- Ensure various documents for offshore use is in place
- Offshore tasks (from site office):
- Take care of deliveries to Site
- Daily activities planning regarding lifting operations, daily works etc.
- Follow up on RAMS from sub-contractors
- Preparation of manifests
- Contact to subcontractors
- Take part in daily site office meetings
- Follow up on master punch-list (Progress etc)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in installation and commissioning planning
- General knowledge of electrical equipment and installation techniques
- Advantage to have experience in the windfarm OSS commissioning/operation
- Education: skilled electrician
The Consultant must bring his/her own PC with MS Office 2007 software or newer and mobile telephone.
