Role:

We have the need to hire the above professional to cover a Maternity Leave. Period will be 11 Months starting early January 2017. The successful candidate will join a small team of highly competent accounting professionals who report to the CFO.

Job description:

  • Will produce monthly management accounts for Singapore and US Subsidiary, including consolidations and Balance Sheet reconciliations

  • Will manage Intercompany reconciliations

  • Will work alongside the Senior MA in compiling the UK management accounts

  • Will maintain Accruals, Prepayments and Fixed Assets schedules

  • Will be given the opportunity to gain an understanding of Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Banking to provide support to the rest of the team should a need arise.

  • Will address VAT/EC Sales returns

  • Will assist the Senior MA with external audit to enable an efficient and thorough audit

  • Will undertake other ad hoc duties as required

Person Specification:

  • Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA

  • An eye for accuracy and a good attention to detail

  • Has experience of Sage Line 50

  • Offers previous exposure to Purchase Orders and Timesheets - desirable

  • Offer strong MS Excel Skills

  • Possess strong verbal and written English communication skills

  • Able to work well autonomously as well as in a team

  • Have a pro active attitude towards identifying and executing improvements

  • Able to build successful relationships with members of the team.

  • Able to work well under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
