€40-60/hour (depending on experience)

The Role
ConSol Partners client develops various high-performance parallel/distributed algorithms, software tools and solutions for supporting strategic research.
For their current projects, we need a software validation engineer to
1) insure the correctness of our designs,
2) evaluate the performance over different cutting-edge hardware platforms/machines
- Develop test strategies and plan
- Implement automation test scripts and suite
- Design test cases, analyze test log files and support troubleshooting
- Continuously improve test cases for early failure detection
- Benchmark software solutions/technologies on different parallel architectures
- Evaluate performance and portability of our software over different hardware
The Individual
- At least 5 years' experience and 3 years in software validation/performance evaluation
- C/C++, Java, Python and/or other script language
- Familiarity with parallel hardware architectures and Linux environments
- Knowledge on parallel programming models and tools like BSP, MPI, Pthread
- Knowledge on parallel profiling and debugging
