Your tasks:
- Lead project kick off and scoping workshops with client stakeholders
- Lead a detailed requirements gathering phase involving multiple stakeholders
- Manage a remote software development team based on the Business Requirements Document agreed after requirements gathering phase
- Monitor and report on project performance using schedule, cost and quality metrics
- Monitor and control projects ensuring efficient utilization of project resources
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans
- Maintain strong focus on customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional project performance and predictable, repeatable project results
- Create cost, work and schedule baselines at the project level
- Monitor and analyse actual vs. baseline, assess variance impacts, and implement remediation actions
- Monitor schedule deviations and assist in the development of alternative methods for corrective action at the project level
- Create and manage corrective action plans to resolve red or yellow project performance conditions
Your qualifications
- Must have baccalaureate degree in business, computer science, management information systems or related field
- Profound program/project management experience that includes software development and product implementations
- PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification preferred
- Proven track record of successfully completing large scale, complex software development and implementation projects - on time, in budget, high level of quality and customer satisfaction
- Experience working and managing the entire project lifecycle - Initiation, Planning, Execution, Close, Monitoring & control
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project
- Experience working within an established Program/Project Management Office environment
- Experience with Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) preferred
- Working knowledge of quality assurance methods, tools, and techniques
- Working knowledge of project performance monitoring using earned value metrics
