Roc Search is currently recruiting for an Oracle PL/SQL Developer to work for a client of mine in based in Dublin, Ireland for a 6 months contract opportunity.

Start Date: ASAP
Rate: €400 daily all inclusive
To support the Manual Payments activities project, which aims to automate the various manual checks, verification etc. activities by installing new Universal Agents using IBM solution and integrating with exiting system by writing new Scripts.
Responsibilities:
- Write new Perl scripts to read the filesystem for presence of files at different intervals during the day.
- Write and execute SQL queries via Oracle Stored Procedures for reading files, calling housekeeping jobs,
- Test and verify the log files and outputs.
- Support Technical designers during design and build phase
- Support Testers during Test and Implementation phase.
Skills & Experience:
- Hands on experience in Perl Scripting, Unix Shell Scripting
- Understanding of Cron-Tab, Job scheduling
- Oracle PL/SQL programming
- Knowledge of MQ, Middleware, & IBM Tivoli tool would be desirable but not mandatory.
