The Career Opportunity
VCMS currently require a Cabling Engineer to work with a British multinational utility company based in Glasgow. The position is for an experienced Cabling Engineer to support the delivery of a Cisco LAN Implementation
Essential:
-
Data network cabling and installation experience,

Working knowledge of Cisco LAN product family

Experience of working with copper and fibre optic cabling systems

Comfortable liaising with project management teams, third-line engineers and service desk engineers on a regular basis

The ability to take on a variety of tasks and pay attention to detail

Analytical and problem-solving ability

Teamwork skills and the ability to feel comfortable working with different teams, clients and groups of staff across an organisation

Organisational skills and the ability to priorities a demanding workload.
