The Career Opportunity

VCMS currently require a Cabling Engineer to work with a British multinational utility company based in Glasgow. The position is for an experienced Cabling Engineer to support the delivery of a Cisco LAN Implementation

Essential:

  • Data network cabling and installation experience,

  • Working knowledge of Cisco LAN product family

  • Experience of working with copper and fibre optic cabling systems

  • Comfortable liaising with project management teams, third-line engineers and service desk engineers on a regular basis

  • The ability to take on a variety of tasks and pay attention to detail

  • Analytical and problem-solving ability

  • Teamwork skills and the ability to feel comfortable working with different teams, clients and groups of staff across an organisation

  • Organisational skills and the ability to priorities a demanding workload.
