Description
Harris Global are recruiting for an SC cleared Automation Engineer to work for a market leading organisation on the south coast. The role is initially 6 months with the infrastructure transformation project is expected to run for 2 years.
The responsibilities of the Automation Engineer include:
- Automating Infrastructure Provisioning
- Automating Application Provisioning
- Automating SOM Tooling deployment & Integration
- Providing overall SOM compute capacity demand to Foundation Service for storage, network, CPU and shared service(IaaS)
The successful Automation Engineer will have experience with:
- Two to five years' experience in automation along with two to five years' experience in Cloud Technologies.
- Working knowledge of networks, network devices and configurations with recent hands on experience in Infrastructure Design (hosting, storage, network, PaaS/IaaS).
- Able automate the workflow process (including approvals) and orchestrate the provision of complex catalogue items using tools such as CA PAM (as an example).
- Able to configure/code to industry API's such as RestFUL/SOAP
