Description: Mainframe consultants for Account Domain
Our client is looking for a Mainframe consultants that can support and work closely together with IT developers doing projects and improvements within our application protfolio.
Account Domain is an IT area in Retail Banking with around 150 employees and consultants working in the Nordic countries, and we deliver account IT solutions to the client's customers in all segments.
The consultants will be a part of a new Nordic team working with our pre-production and production environments. This includes tasks such as:
Project related work
Analyses on data and databases
o Checking/analysing values in fields or tables
o Checking/analysing dependencies
o Analysing the need for data clean up
o Checking databases after deployments
Application architecture
o Integrations
o Dependencies
o Batch flow
Data extractions
o Testing/validating extracts
o Defining extracts
o Comparing extracts
o Making business specific extractions eg. for marketing purposes
Data migrations
o Defining migrations
Generating test data
o Identify, extract and depersonalize data for test purposes
Test in Pre-Prod environments
o Testing applications before deployment to production
Requirements:
5+ years of experience with applications and databases on a Mainframe.
The consultant must be able to work independently with defined problems on a highly-complex level within certain areas of expertise. And have experience from working with mission critical, high-availability and high-transaction volume IT solutions.
Good understanding of IT Service Management and holds at least an ITIL foundation certificate.
Basic skills on Mainframe including:
Make searches in CICS
Can read data sets in TSO
God knowledge of SQL and databases eg. DB2
Familiar with JCL
Eventually familiar with SAS
Fluent in English
Availability: normal working hours in the Nordics
On top of that - they need knowledge of as many tools as possible such as.
Service Oriented (SOAP, RESTful either directly exposed or through ESB)
Message Oriented (MQ, JMS)
File Oriented (B2B, MFT)
Data Oriented (ELT, ETL)
Process Oriented (BPMN, BPEL)
Weblogic, Jetty & Apache Servers
MQ and/or JMS
GIT, Bitbucket, Fisheye
Deployment framework(s)
MEGA
AppDynamics
The consultants will be trained in our application, data structures and setup.
The consultants must work from a client or partner site.
