Infrastructure Project Manager - Dublin - Windows, Linux, Networks
Square one are looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager to come on board for a 6 month contract based in Dublin, Ireland starting immediately.
- Excellent communication & Analytical skills.
- Good knowledge on current and Legacy Infra technologies:
- OS: Windows, RHEL, Solaris
- DB: Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, DB2
- Storage: EMC, HP, Hitachi, IBM
- Network: Cisco Layer-2 & Layer-3 Switches, Foundry Load Balancers
- Should have strong experience in Legacy application & infrastructure migration methodologies.
- Should be able to advice on application & data migration data strategies and influence Technical decisions towards best solutions.
- Should be able to identify the inter-dependencies/application impact due to changes within infrastructure components and build solutions to ensure minimal business impact.
- Create and develop technical application architecture deployments, migration planning from Legacy infrastructure to next generation platforms.
- Should be able to Identify and model application capacity and performance requirements based on existing application environments/historical data.
- Experienced in creating design document, HLADs, Installation & configuration document, IP Design and reviewing content of the document adhering to standards is an advantage
- Improving quality and reliability of the integrated project plan with weekly progress updates
- Tracking deliverables according to the project plan.
- Vendor coordination, Technical coordination across the teams
- Weekly reporting for individual project meetings
- Coordination for network design and planning (IP Designing/Firewall/VPN)
- Coordination with vendors, network team, procurement team architects and DC team
- Risk track, updates and closure in the appropriate forums.
- Coordination for operational acceptance, Licenses, vendors documents requirements fulfilments. Connectivity checks for remote sessions, Project Sign-off.
- Infra readiness checks, Daily, weekly, fortnightly reports, build team coordination
This is a 6 month contract role based in Dublin paying market rates starting immediately.
