Finance Manager
The Role
The Finance Manager will be based with a leading financial services company in Halifax on an initial contract length of 6 months. Although the initial contract is for 6 months, the contract has a very high potential to go long past the initial contract on offer. The initial day rate on offer is £340 - £390.
The responsibilities of the Finance Manager will be responsible for analysing the financial data then resolving any accounting or possible posting issues where appropriate. You will also be responsible for ensuring appropriate financial control processes are implemented around statutory reporting.
Some of the core characteristics that the successful Finance Manager will possess are extensive experience working as a Finance Manager. As the role sits with a large financial institution, experience with a large financial services company would be a must. Some of the desirable skills that the client has listed are part or fully qualified accountant and strong statutory accountant skills.

Being a Contractor
