Description
The role of the Technical systems Analyst will include working on multiple IT projects across globally located Business units & Servers, working as part of a global QAD team taking direction from Project Managers and Technical Leads as well as following departmental processes.
You will need to be proficient in the following:
- Gathering requirements
- Linux & AIX operating system functionality & most importantly a full understanding of the progress database platform (V9 >>>> with a view to upgrading existing environments to the current release)
- Delivering multiple QAD & progress environment improvements including upgrades to the latest QAD application software
- Complete technical analysis tasks, producing high quality documentation, mapping out as is processes and identifying systemic or technical solutions to meet the requirements
