Project Engineer/Manager - North West - Contract
Our well established and successful client in the North West are currently looking for a Project Engineer to join them on a 6 month rolling contract basis (contract to permanent option available too). The company is known for designing, developing, manufacturing and installing heavy duty steel mechanisms for application within a range of industry sectors. You will be directly involved in the delivery of the mechanical & electrical engineering elements of a number of exciting projects, including London Crossrail, Sellafield and several RAF Hangars.
The daily deliverables of the role:
- Reporting to Design Manager/Principal Engineer.
- Working with Project team - PM, Commercial Manager, Engineer, QS.
- Write material specifications.
- Quality documentation
- Producing specifications.
- Provide technical input where required.
Skills/experience required:
- Mechancial & Electrical skills.
- Over 5 years experience in Project Engineering.
- Nuclear/structures/rail experience ideally.
- You should be able to navigate around Autocad
