Sytel Reply are currently looking for an experienced PHP developer to fulfil an urgent requirement.
Role:
This role involves developing new features on an exciting new Web Based Application that we are delivering. You will also be required to maintain and improve the existing features. The project is a multi-environment, n-tier architecture, innovative platform, written in PHP and connected to an Oracle Database.
Required technical skills & experience:
- Strength with both PHP and SQL/Oracle
- 4-5 years' experience as a PHP developer - specifically version 5 onwards
- Strong knowledge/experience in Oracle databases/SQL
Highly desired technical skills & experience
- Experience in technical consultancy within the TMT market either within a technology vendor, systems integrator or management consultancy.
- Advanced knowledge of IP Addressing, IP routing, Firewall ACLs
- Expert knowledge of web application security (OSWASP)
- Experience with PHP Excel library
- Basic Javascript knowledge (enough to understand and maintain code)
- Basic CSS/XSLT knowledge (enough to understand and maintain code)
- Apache2 reverse Proxy handling SSL offload and authentication using SSO
- PHP with PHP-FPM
- Linux REHL 7 (CentOS/Redhat)
- Experience with REST APIs (GET/POST methods)
