Chief Press Officer needed for leading research and review website.

Joining an extremely fast-paced and busy team, the brand provide commercial review and advice to customers. They understand what stories are important and who their audience is and which of the media they need to speak to.
They are consistency at the top of the news agenda and gain a lot of proactive traction with the stories they write. They like to work with PR people that have a great nose for a story and can keep calm in a crisis.
The role:
As one of the deputies within the team you'll guide and develop the rest of the team to make sure you are sending out accurate information to the media.
The team is fully structured from Head of department, Corporate PR Manager, x2 Chief Press Officers as well as Senior Press Officers, Press Officers and Assistants.
The Chief Press Officer is responsible for helping to drive out consistency in work throughout the team, help deliver on media coverage as well as establishing strategies and objectives for the business.
You'll be responsible for line management of junior team members and delivering on best practise throughout your time here. You'll lead by example and offer support to the team as well as generate positive press coverage in an extremely fast paced environment.
As well as feeding into the Head of News you'll be responsible for feeding back to internal / external stakeholders in the business.

- Immediately available
- Experience of running a busy Press Office
- Line management experience
- Understanding how to devise and deliver media plans
- Experience of internal / external stakeholder management
- Fantastic contacts in the broadcast, online and print space
- Understanding of research and policy issues
