Instructional Designers

Our leading global technology client is continuing an innovative redesign of their customer and service/technical training programs to improve the quality of training, be more interactive, help deliver business objectives, increase remote support, and lower overall training costs.
We are looking for Instructional Designers with experience in delivering training material for a variety of digital media.

As part of a dedicated team, you will be involved in the creation, authoring, and delivery of instructor led and E-learning programs to support their products.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing blended learning programs for technicians with a wide range of skills.
  • Designing structure, content, activities, and assessments to enhance learner skills and knowledge.
  • Authoring topic based, reusable content for technical training.
  • Storyboarding and creating technical videos and simulations to deliver engaging content.
  • Scoping training requirements, designs, and estimates to support customer and strategic goals.

The following skills and experience are required:

  • Development of a variety of training programs, especially programs dealing with hardware.
  • Worked with developers, product managers, and engineers to understand and articulate specifications.
  • Designed and delivered training for PC, tablet, and mobile via web based Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS).
  • Skills with a variety of learning development tools (Storyline, Captivate, Flash, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Comfortable with hands on activities involving mechanical or electrical equipment, and using basic tools to conduct tear-downs of hardware.
