Solution Architect (Business Intelligence)
- The solution architect works with the business analyst, the data architects and the development tech leads to create the solution design for delivery of new BI requirements.
- Producing a Solution Definition Document, and ensures compliance with existing standards and policies and works with the enterprise architecture group to get the designs approved and ready for implementation teams to work on.
The candidate must be a person who will take ownership and takes initiative to reach out to the relevant stakeholders to gather information, and to resolve outstanding questions and issues, and consolidate the outcomes.
The consultant must be able to give qualified and competent input to the design, drive resolution of issues, and to guide the rest of team. Just identifying issues and reporting to others for resolution is not enough, must take ownership and have the necessary solid BI/Data Warehousing background to drive issues to closure with the relevant key stakeholders.
5+ years of BI/Datawarehousing experience as a technical lead or architect is required, and at least 3+ years of experience in similar role in a Teradata environment.
