Description
Maritime Systems Engineer required to join a globally recognised defence company in the Havant area. They are a leading provider of Systems Engineering, Software Development and complex programme management for global security, cyber, civil and commercial projects.
Current projects involve working alongside the Royal Navy so previous maritime/naval experience is going to be key for the Maritime Systems Engineer.
The Maritime Systems Engineer is available as a 3 month contract with a high possibility of it being extended due to the size of projects. Paying an hourly rate of up to £50.00/hour and working with some of the best defence equipment in the world, this is an opportunity you really should not miss.
Key skills required for the Maritime Systems Engineer:
- Proven experience with the successful design, implementation, integration, and test of Maritime Electronic Warfare (EW ) Systems especially Radar and Communication
- A good knowledge of other Maritime systems that integrate with Electronic Warfare Systems including sensors, combat system, effectors
- Current knowledge of Defence and IMO Standards
As this position is going to be working within the Defence industry, the Maritime Systems Engineer MUST be eligible for Security Clearance.
