Senior Development Engineer CDMO

Location: Cambridgeshire

Contract length: 6-12 Months

6-12 Months Contract - £35-45/hr

Optimus Life Sciences are working with a Global Medical Devices Company based in Cambridgeshire and together we are looking Senior Engineer for a newly build team. This project will last a minimum of 6 months initially. The proposed started date is beginning of March but can be flexible, interviews will take place as early as this week.

Overview

A Global leader in manufacturing high volume, precision built, medical devices.

As the Senior Development Engineer, you will work closely with clients who are experienced using best practice Design for Manufacturing techniques in order to support the product development from the early stages through to product realization and industrialization, including design transfer at the commercial phase.

Your responsibilities will include;
  • You will manage projects as the technical lead to develop and industrialize product designs to achieve defined performance, specifications, functional, and manufacturing quality requirements.
  • Ideally have experience of plastics / moulding / sealing design for medical devices.
  • Any previous experience for the design and development of Class 2 and 3 medical devices including MDI's, injection moulding or working in accordance to FDA Design Control requirements would be very beneficial to your application.


Ideal applicants will have a minimum 5 years' experience as a Design / Development Engineer within the Medical Devices Industry.
