Frontend Developer highly skilled in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular, GIT, TDD and Agile is urgently required to join a leading UK insurance provider based in Dorset on an initial 3-month contract up to GBP 450/day.As a Frontend Developer, you'll be part of a talented development team delivering a green-field multi-platform project. You'll be developing new mobile-first websites and web applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular and GIT following a Test-Driven approach. This business critical project is key to the overall transformation of the company and provide the opportunity to play with the latest development tools and methodologies.
Previous experience developing high-traffic eCommerce & payment sites and applications is highly desired.
Technical & Soft Skills
. Strong understanding in HTML & CSS
. Commercial experience using JavaScript (preferably ES6/vanilla) on high-traffic sites and web apps
. Exposure to AngularJS (either Angular 1/2)
. Responsive design
. Keen follower in Test-Driven development
. Agile development exposure (Scrum/Kanban)
. GIT source control
. Assured communication skills
. Team Player
