Description
Resource 1 is in need of a QA Analyst (Data Integration) for a 6-month contract in Chicago (walking distance to the train). Individual will design, create, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts related to the Data Integration platform and Data Integration business rules. Individual must have an understanding of data flow, parsing, ingress, and egress. Individual will be responsible for ensuring that business requirements are mapped to the functional specifications, providing insight and feedback, and creating automated test scripts using Perl, Shell Scripting, or PowerShell Scripting. Ideal candidate would have 9 years of overall QA experience and 3-5 years' experience in data testing with proficiency in SQL testing tools, as well as some working knowledge of Informatica (but not required). Experience testing Data Ingress platforms and Data Ingress business rules is preferred, as well as experience using Web Services. Experience with SoapUI is a plus, as is healthcare file types (HL7 and 837). Candidate must possess excellent communication skills and adaptability, and must be able to take initiative. Prior experience in a lead role would be a big plus for this position.
