GIS Developer - Stockholm, Sweden (partially remote)
Languages: ENGLISH only
Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency and proven experience with GIS integration and GIS web applications development in .NET environment using ArcGIS Server 10.5, ESRI ArcGIS API for JavaScript and Python
- Good knowledge and experience with development in MS SharePoint environment
- Good knowledge of relational databases (MS SQL)
- Experience in the development of web GIS applications in public health
Description of work:
- Support system design and development to create/modify GIS tools and contribute with GIS components to tools upon request
- Undertake the software development tasks, including the following activities:
- Develop Web GIS applications on SharePoint 2010
- Design and implement integration of technological components
- Adapt the existing code, removal or replacement of components
- Identify functional/logic views for software development
- Design and application of Test Cases to deliver the software
- Write technical documentation
- Assist with the designs and implementation of the GIS applications architecture
- Identify the cause of bugs, document and develop long term solutions
- Develop deployment packages and deployment documentation
- Provide support and application maintenance
