Description
The web-ops engineer/s will work in a multidisciplinary team to update, build and maintain the clients development and hosting platforms. You will manage the clients AWS and our Cloud foundry environments as well as working with developers to design and build systems and processes to make our CI/CD pipeline better for our users. As part of the role development and modification of applications is required so experience with programming languages is essential.
Essential skills and experience:
- A cool, methodical approach to troubleshooting and debugging problems, especially during stressful periods of downtime
- Deep and wide experience with infrastructure and platform technologies like AWS, Google Cloud, Cloud Foundry, Deis, or Tsuru
- Deep and wide knowledge of the plumbing of the Internet (TCP/IP, routing, bridging, HTTP, SSL, DNS, mail)
- Experience developing applications and creating automation to support infrastructure.
- Experience working in and contributing to open source projects and culture an enormous plus (contributions beyond code are highly valued).
